Hello guys

I have a strange problem with my SR 3100 ultra .. since it was working very well with the latest software 5-2-2008,

Today I restart my receiver as usual to let it upgrade itself .. but when the ( upgrade data ) sign apeared on the screen it took longer than usual and then the receiver restart and the sign apeared again and soooo on !!!

I couldn't find out what happened !! or how to solve this problem !!

Any one can help me with this problem ?

The upgrade data is for TPS,Multivision. So you can restart the device without putting the satelite cables(without signal),after you can open a free channal (not TPS or Multivision channels) , until to find a new software Sokol

. . Dear Sokol , Thank you very much for your reply , Actually I've already done than exactly .. now all free channels are working, But I don't know why that happened !! I mean it was working properly with the same software .. I didn't change any thing .. it just happened !! anyway .. Thank you very much for your help Sokol Take care . .

Dear Rollen

That happened because of the last version 3.01.This program make upgrade by the sateliite ( uuto update the TPS,Multivision).But for moment TPS and Multivision on this device had gone. I test the old version 3.77 and everythig is ok,opened the RaiAfrica in Hotbird premiere channels on Astra ( TPS and Multivision not opened).
If you have the old version 3.77 for Starsat 3100 ( because i have only version for Starsat 3200 and 3500 CUCI) you can test it .

Dear Sokol, Thank you again for your reply Yes .. now I can understand !! it's true I tested the old version 3.77 and it upgrades okay with no problem ( didn't open the tps or MV's ) So the Tps has gone .. that's why this version 3.01 is not working any more .. that explain every thing. Thank you one more time Sokol for being very kind and helpful .. I really appriciated Take care . .
